Tutu's and Sizing Charts

I am  a Carolina girl living in Buffalo, NY.  Down in the Carolina's little girls are wearing little tutu's with tanks, tights, pants, and all things girlie.  This fad has not yet made it's way to the north, so I thought I would start it myself. 

Over the past several months I have made several tutus for portrait parties and 1st birthdays.  These tutus can be worn for an occasion or just for fun.  Most little girls LOVE to play dress up and these tutus give them a reason to do it more often. These tutus are not for little girls, but can be made for newborns, toddlers, kids, teens, and adults.  We can even create themes for Halloween. Just check out the sizing chart below to find your measurements and we can go from there.

This tutu was made for little Dani who just turned 1 in January 2011.  The tutu was attached to a 12 month onzie and enhanced with a satin bow.  The onzie was adorned by a decorative "1".

This tutu was designed for a fall portrait party specifically for Benson Photography.  This is our Crafty Chics Scarecrow tutu dress in a size 4T.

 This tutu was also designed specifically for Benson Photography.  This is our Crafty Chics Holiday Tutu Dress in a size 4T.  It comes with the tights, tutu in red and green, shirt, and hair band with flower.  The little girls just loved all of the tulle.

"Photographer's Bestie"

Below is a "Photographer's Bestie!"  If you are like me, while out on a shoot, I do not like to be constricted by my photography bag, and I am always forgetting where I put my lens cap and/or my lens cleaner.  I came up with a solution for my most used photography gear that is light weight and fashionable.   I photograph a lot of children and I am always in need of bubbles, candy, and other little props that can bring a nice smile.

The three pocket "Photographer's Bestie" can be customized to your liking and can be designed to match the colors in your logo and can be personalized with your business name.

Knitting Photography Props

Below is a cocoon in chocolate brown that is used to wrap and cradle babies during photography sessions. It is a large design and can be stretched to fit the baby.  The cocoon can be designed in any color.

This cocoon is was made with a tighter knit pattern.

This cocoon is made with a wider knit pattern in a cream color.

Below is a pea-in-a-pod that a baby's body fits into.  This will come up underneath the armpits. This pea-in-a-pod is made smaller to fit newborns and premie babies.  This pea-in-a-pod is a sage green.

This pea-in-a-pod is made larger to fit all babies.  This pea-in-a-pod is a cream and light blue color.

Welcome to ZDesigns by Crafty Chics.  We are a small team of crafters who are looking to take our work to a different level.  We have a combined experience of 35+ years.  We enjoy making quilts for all occasions, walling hangings, purses, and all things related to babies.
